Did You See That?
We didn’t watch the Super Bowl. We’re not really sports fans, so we didn’t watch. We did, however tune in for the half time show. I thought it was pretty mediocre - and then it happened. Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson were singing together and she was grinding her hips against his groin area. This surprised me since I wouldn’t have thought that they even knew each other. At the end of the song, he reached up and grabbed one of the cups of her shirt off. There it was in all its glory: Janet Jackson’s boob. Kevin and I went back and forth about this all night. I said it was her boob and he said that it was a pastie. I checked with the BBC because I knew that they would show the actual photo and I wasn’t disappointed. They’re claiming that it was a costume malfunction. Yea, right! It looks as though she has spikes through her nipple. Who could wear something like that all the time under their clothes? Wouldn’t that be painful? And wouldn’t it show through normal shirts? No, this was planned. I think they probably think it’s very funny. The thing is: you would think that she would be on her best behavior since her brother has been in the news so much lately. Or was that the point; to take the focus off of him and put some on herself? If more publicity is what she wanted, I think she got it.
