Giant's Bread

I have to mention a wonderful, haunting book that I just finished. It was Giant’s Bread by Agatha Christie, writing as Mary Westmacott. Of her non-mystery books, this is my favorite thus far. The story is about a boy, his childhood home, friends, and the women in his life. It was astounding, utterly surprising and magnificent. I have to admit, I rushed through it because I didn’t want to put it down, and now I wish it wasn’t over. I suppose there are many things in ones life like this.

I'm going to have to read that! I think I've only read two Agatha Christie books, both mysteries. I liked her style a lot, though.
