Icky!
It’s official. I’m sick. I did however make it back to church last night. I took my meds and was able to make it the whole hour and a half without sniffling, sneezing, or coughing. YEA!
Today has been a literal hell. I am raw from my nose to my mouth. I have blown and wiped so many times that my skin is now the color of a ripe strawberry – and no, that’s not a good thing!
Earlier I tried to rub some Vicks - VapoRub Ointment on the tip of my nose and it felt like it was on fire. I couldn’t get that stuff off quick enough. It’s not good for raw skin – remember that! Since that didn’t work, I did the next best thing. I stuck my nose up to the jar and sniffed forever. Vicks is strong stuff and I couldn’t smell a thing, so you know I’m pretty stopped up! Pray that I’ll be much, much better tomorrow ;)
On another note: I have to mention GW’s post entitled “Missy Sandnose, don't make me scream...”. When you don’t have dogs you forget some of their, uh …. Habits. Warning: Do not drink or eat while reading that. LOL!

Hah! I bet the litterbox is bad enough today it would clear those sinuses right up, Tami. That must be why Emma was so interested in it yesterday. ;)
Hope you feel better soon. Drink some hot tea with lemon. If you drink the tea before even getting out bed in the morning, it helps even more. See if you can arrange to be pampered that little bit tomorrow morning!

Oh, that hot tea sounds wonderful. I think I have to try that today. I wish I could be pampered in the morning!

Did you try the tea? Feeling any better?

Actually, I went to the doctor last night (3-10) and I don't have a sinus infection. She said that it looked as if I had the beginnings of bronchitis. I am taking lots of medications and am feeling better already! I can breathe again :) Thank you for asking :)
