New In The Gallery
Here’s what you’ve been waiting for: Kitchen Remodel Spring Break 2004. That is the direct link to the pics or you can always get to them via the photo gallery. Kevin realized that even though our digital camera died, we could take pictures with our camcorder! We had never taken “pictures” on it. I am thrilled that he thought of this before we had gotten too far and I think they turned out great. Also know that you can click on each picture to enlarge it.
I don’t see how the people on Trading Spaces and Changing Rooms do it in two days. I really thought that if they could do it, we could too. I think it would have gone much quicker had the weather been better. We couldn’t paint the doors outside because it rained off and on the entire time. I know on the TV shows they normally have tents to work under. This is reality: two people getting older, a tight budget, and a small house. It takes at the minimum three days. We are going to enjoy the rest of spring break so much more now that the work is complete! Thanks to everyone for all of the encouraging words :)

Don't they have a crew at those locations or something? I've never understood how they could get all of that done, either.
Your videocamera takes great stills - nice and clear. WOW, what a huge difference paint makes! I love the sponged squares. The pictures make the walls look more pinky than orange, at least on my monitor. When you take some with flash, they'll look more true to color, I bet. That is just WAY cool, great work!
I hear ya about not wanting glass doors, too. I'd have to frost mine!

I felt like you deserved something after waiting so long. I still need to take my make-up off and get in the shower. I'm trying to get caught up with email :)
Get this: we got up at 7:00 this morning to take Andrew to the orthodontist, so yes, I need a good night's sleep.
