Human Tamale?

Mexican tamale vendor arrested after mutilated body found in his home. This news story reminds me of the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. “The secret’s in the sauce.” If you haven’t seen that movie, you need to put it at the top of your list right now.

In other news: we took Ashley to the doctor last night and she has a sinus infection. The doctor prescribed amoxicillin – the REAL stuff, not the generic substitute. I tell you what, it’s been a LONG time since I’ve seen and smelled the real deal. The generic stuff smells different and is orange. This stuff smells pretty good and is bright pink. I’m sure it tastes better to Ashley. She acts like it does! She was very sick last night, but this morning seemed better. She hasn’t been running a fever so I sent her on to school. After today there are only 18 days left. I keep reminding her of this. I would hate for her to miss any of the last few weeks.

*UPDATE*
Less than ten minutes after posting the above, Ashley’s school nurse called and said that she had puked all over the classroom and I needed to come and pick her up. I didn’t know that sinus infections caused to much stomach upset!!

Poor kid - Yes, sinus infections sure can make you sick. All that drainage can make you feel really queasy. Been there!

I read that about the tamale guy, too...Thought the same thing about FGT's.

My daughter used to get violent stomach ache with her ear infections, every six weeks to the minute. She grew out of them by her teens thank goodness.

That medicine makes me puke, too.
