An Extra Day
Saturday night Kevin was feeling terrible so Ashley and I went trick-or-treating alone. The time hadn’t changed, so it was still bright outside making it easy to see. Even though Kevin didn’t feel well on Sunday, he still did some Christmas shopping with me. By Sunday night, I was wrapping Christmas presents! I don’t and can’t leave anything unwrapped around this house. We have absolutely no hiding places. Every nook and cranny is filled with something, so gifts have to be wrapped ASAP. I think we put a pretty good dint in things for only one days shopping. I’m just glad we finally got started!
Today Ashley is home from school. I took her to the doctor this morning and she has strep throat and a cold. She was miserable all morning. When she’s sick, she’s really, really sick! I’m so glad that we have tomorrow off because of the election. That way she will have an extra day to rest.

Well, my blog still isn't publishing my comments and as I wanted to say that your presidential voting is the most excited I have ever got about any such thing, I wait with baited breath to see what the result is!

Wow, you guys get election day off? We sure don't...Even the schools that serve as polling places don't get the day off. :P Does it always seem to rain on election day in Kentucky? Sure seems to here in Ohio!
I hope Ashley feels better soon, poor kid. Hope Kevin's immunity kicks up a notch and he bounces back well, too!

I am almost completely done with my christmas shopping. I did most of it on-line with LTD. I have been hiding it in my room for 4 months, now i can finally wrap it! Not much for hiding it anyway, all the kids know what they are getting! Makes my life easier!
