Free ISP

The Egg Nog is out and I am happy! There’s nothing better than a big glass of Egg Nog. Don’t even try to tell me how fattening it is; we only drink it a few times a year, so let me enjoy the moment.

We made the big jump with Adelphia today. We turned in our digital cable boxes, remotes, and our cable modem. We are now using Juno which is a completely FREE ISP. Our bill jumped from $106 a month to $42 a month. So far, Juno has connected easily and it’s much faster than I remembered. My email is slower, but I can live with it for the price!

I hope that everyone voted today! This is an exciting race!

Egg nog time! We get the low-fat kind. It makes KILLER French toast, by the way. ::grins:: No more broadband, eh? For most of the stuff I do, dial-up would probably be okay, but until we've gotta drop it, I don't wannnna drop it.

We voted today. Sounds like my guy's doing well thus far, too. Whew!

Is it a drink and what is in it apart from the obvious egg? I am also assuming that it is consumed at a certain time of year. This sounds like a good tradition.

Lynne: Here is a recipe for Egg Nog:
http://www.recipesource.com/holiday/christmas/egg-nog1.html

Normally you can only find it in the stores at Thanksgiving and Christmas time. It is a very rich drink that is very fattening and very yummy!

GW: I will have to try it with french toast! I am assuming you don't need any egg then and the egg nog takes the place of the milk?

EGG NOG needs to be slowly sipped, in a very small glass and only one glass at a time, don't you think so,Tami ?

Hmmmm, will have to ask Howie about the extra egg. I suspect it is not needed, but we'd better ask the Head Chef. ;)

Is this the same drink that we used to have in the swinging 60's - Advocaat?
I was taught to drink it out of one of those funnel shape glasses, cos if you hadn't totally cleaned the glass. it was possible to lick it clean!! Honest...
