NOT PC

While shopping for Christmas cards today I saw many boxes labeled “African American”. My question to this is: where do I go to buy the “Caucasian” cards? Where is the Spanish, Chinese, or other raced cards? You get my point.

I would bet big money that if there were cards labeled “Caucasian” someone from the NAACP would be suing and crying racism. If we’re going to be equal then let’s be equal. Get my drift?

I guess the only logic is that there are so few cards depicting minorities compared to those with artwork featuring caucasian people. My friends have now adopted three black kids now, and at first it was hard for her to find nice cards that showed anything but blonde little cherubic Ango-Saxon kids on them. It does seem silly that there are not sections for every specific ethnicity. Personally, I just think "American"...We're a great big mishmash of cultures.
