Games

Kevin and I had a great time today. After church we got together with some friends that we really hadn’t spent any time with since this summer. You know, the days and months fly by and you don’t realize how much you’ve missed each other until you get together again.

We went to their house and played Scattergories and Scrabble. Then we came back to our house and played Tribond and another round of Scrabble. Their son and Ashley played together in her room and had a blast. Ashley made sure that he got a Spiderman tattoo on his arm while he was here.

I definitely don’t want to wait so long before we get together again!

Oooh, we love Scattergories and Scrabble, too! We have some friends we need to invite over. Thanks for the reminder.

We did stop by Howie's uncle and aunt's house Sunday evening and enjoyed a couple hours of just good old fashioned conversation. No TV, no music, just the sounds of voices and laughter. What neat people they are, and I think this is the first time I've ever enjoyed a long visit of just...visiting.
