Kevin's Day
Happy birthday to the love of my life …. No! Not Guido! Kevin! Happy birthday Kevin! I love you!
In other news:
We took Ashley to the doctor yesterday afternoon and she has an ear infection. I thought it may be swimmers ear, but the doctor said no. He said that swimmers ear usually occurs when a person is going from one pool to another. She has only been in our pool and has only gone three times now, so she has just a plain old, crummy ear infection. Lucky for her she gets to take the good tasting pink medicine!

WHAT!!?!?!? that's the biggest load i have ever heard
swimmer's ear (or at least what i know as swimmer's ear) is when water is trapped in the ear canal and bacteria grows in it causing radiating pain to the jaw.
it has nothing to do with the number of pools OR LAKES you dip in
freaky

Happy Birthday Kevin!
Do they have a surgery especially for children? I noticed the Panda border or is it for sick conservationists? Anyway, get better soon Ashley.

Deanna: Kevin says that you are a turd (ha! ha!). He turned 36.
Miss L: You're right! The medicine does match!
Dana: He said exactly what I wrote. Maybe what he meant was going in multiple pools increases the harmful bacteria. However, he never used the word bacteria. I was just glad to get out of there with a prescription for some pink stuff :)
Lynne: Yes, this is a pediatrician's office. Only children go there. They have an animal theme throughout the whole place. It's very cheerful.

Hope she gets feeling better soon. Vikki also has a very painful earache right now and she never gets sick.

Rob, please tell Vikki that I hope she feels better soon. I am missing her blogging!

His logic is probably that you'd be more immune to the bacteria in a pool you swam regularly in. I once got swimmer's ear from water caught in my ear during a shower! It was after Howie and I first got married. I had hurt my back and couldn't straighten up well, and I got shower water down in my ear. That was the WORST infection, just awful. Last year's wasn't any great shakes, either, but it was a different cause.
Hope it clears up quick.
Happy birthday, Kevin!
Hope you feel better soon, too, Vikki!
