We Have A Winner
Over the past two months, Ashley took part in the summer reading program at our public library. Other than reading many books, she also took sign language classes for a week and art classes another week.
There was a drawing of names for prizes and Ashley won one of the coveted gift baskets. When she got the phone call that she had won, she danced and jumped all over the house. Here she is with her basket:

That's fantastic!
I used to work at the library. Summer reading is a great time, the library is always full and buzzing with energy. I loved how excited all of the children were about the programs and prizes.
It looks like the prizes have gotten a lot better.

Wow -- way fun! Congratulations, Ashley, not only for winning the basket, but for reading the books in the first place. That's so cool.
