Cookie Time!

Today we took sugar cookie dough, molded it into pumpkin forms, baked it, and then decorated the cookies. The cousins came over just in time to help.

Here is Jesse’s finished cookie. She knew that she wanted to make a happy face:

The kids ate their cookies, but here are the survivors:

You may ask why we made pumpkin faces when it’s still August. Well, I’m excited about the upcoming fall season. I can’t wait to get my decorations out!

Gosh, those look great. Yummy, too! I need to leave a few calories to spare for some really good iced sugar cookies!!
