Flop
When Ashley awoke this morning, she was in the same condition as the night before. I won’t go into the gory details, but suffice it to say, she had more wrong with her than just a fever.
Thankfully, around 10:00, her fever broke and she began feeling better immediately. She ate a decent lunch and was able to eat a great dinner. She seems to be back to her normal self. Stomach virus’ are awful and I’m glad we are through with it!

One of my nieces came to my front door holding a little piece of Lamb’s Ear. I wonder where the little dear got it?! I told her that I would rather she didn’t pick pretty things from my yard.
Apparently, she was having a bad day because my sister told me that while driving down the Bypass the same little dear threw one of her flip-flop’s from the car window.
Now, I would have driven on and told her that the flip-flop was gone forever and that you don’t EVER throw ANYTHING from a car window. I would have made into a nice learning experience.
Instead of doing that, my sister stops the car in the middle of the road and proceeds to hold her arms up to stop traffic while she retrieves that $2 flip flop! Why did she go to so much trouble and risk her life and risk getting rear-ended?
Well, the little dear who threw the flip-flop out the window began to cry.
Too bad!

Hope Ashley feels better very soon!
I agree with you about the flip-flop. On a sidenote, is THAT why you never see two shoes by the roadside? It's always just one. Is it because some kid threw one shoe out the car window?

That is so funny. I can see Jennifer doing that. I would have left the shoe there.
I am glad that Ashley is feeling better.

I think we have all had that same question, GW. Maybe this IS the true answer! ;)
