Yesterday we got up early and traveled via chartered bus to Paramount's Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ashley rode her first roller coaster - The Italian Job: Stunt Track. She also rode The Adventure Express. After those two, she said she never wanted to ride another roller coaster again. In fact, as we rounded a curve on The Adventure Express, she looked me in the eyes and said, “I don’t like this.”
Now that I think about it, she did ride another roller coaster though. She rode Rugrats Runaway Reptar, which is a roller coaster and rated just as high as the others we rode as far as the scary factor is concerned.

I LOVE the Vortex...it's one of my favorite rides! I also like The Outer Limits, although I'm not sure if they still have it. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun.
(BTW, the vanilla-blueberry swirled icecream is the best!)

The vortex looks terrifying! I am glad to see you like the bumper cars too, I enjoy the memories of the rides in Greece last spring - not what I went there for, but a fun addition to the holiday!

I *love* roller coasters. Howie doesn't like them and wouldn't be on one now because of his back issues...But some friends from the coffee shop DO like them. Next summer we need to get a group together to go and the non-riders can hang out and see the schmaltzy shows. LOL

I think that was one of my biggest disappointments, GW; there were NO shows. None. There was supposed to be ONE, but it was closed the day we were there. Go figure. Things at Kings Island aren’t what they used to be since the name has changed.
