Movies: Take 1

I have been very remiss about keeping you up to date on what movies I am watching. I feel if I don’t spend the next few days playing catch-up, I may never list them at all. So, here’s the beginning of the inventory. It started out as a “summer movie list”.

5-27-06 The Longest Yard
This movie had a good soundtrack. It was predictable, but fun to watch once.

6-4-06 Walk the Line
This movie was full of great music. How could it not be? It is about Johnny Cash!

6-7-06 The Exorcism of Emily Rose
I loved this movie because it was scary, but not gory, so I didn’t have to cover my eyes.

6-14-06 Mr. & Mrs. Smith
The best thing about this movie is getting to watch the two most beautiful people on the planet for two hours!

6-18-06 The Jacket
This movie was freaky and I loved it. Adrian Brody was fantastic!

6-21-06 Trainspotting
Watching this will show you just how bad drugs are.

6-22-06 Crash
This movie had a good cast, but I don’t know that I would see it again.

6-26-06 Second Chorus
This one would have been better had it not been so long and drawn out.

6-27-06 Uptown Girls
A very feel-good movie - I love Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning.

6-28-06 The Interpreter
This wasn’t one of Nicole Kidman’s best movies. It just didn’t do anything for me.

6-29-06 Little Black Book
Another Brittany Murphy movie – this is cute and funny. I would categorize it as a great “date” movie.

This is only the first 11 ...

I've seen The Longest Yard, The Jacket, and Walk the Line. All great movies, although I was a little confused about The Jacket. Could this guy really time travel, or was he just crazy?

Did you know that the actress in The Exorcism of Emily Rose is from Louisville? I haven't seen it yet, but I plan to.

Stacey, I asked Kevin what he thought and his reply was, "We don't know." Personally, I think he could time travel.

Lori-Lyn, I did not know that. I hope you get to see it soon. Tis the season for scary movies!
