Getting Out

It’s mid December, yet the weather has been comfortable. For the past few days, we have been able to take Guido for a walk:

When it gets too cold, we’re miserable walking, but I believe he is too.

He hates getting off his warm pillow in the mornings to go out into the cold. Kevin has to say his name several times and then give him a small nudge. He reluctantly, very reluctantly gets up, stretches, and jumps off the bed. He’s very quick to “go” when it’s cold outside or raining. He doesn’t like getting rained on, so he runs and finds a spot fast.

I know. You really didn’t need to know about Guido’s potty habits, but there you have it anyway.

Do you have a problem with that?

Woody seems to be hybernating. There are two other pugs in our neighborhood. They're elderly and usually take their walk at a liesurely pace. I've noticed that since it's colder, they practically run down the sidewalk!

Bob is very excited to go outside, no matter the weather. He doesn't like to stay outside too long when it's cold, but I think he hates being cooped up in the house even more.
