Extended Weekend

Last night, Andrew had his friend Mike over to spend the night:

They played video games together in his room and then we all played SKIP-BO, Apples To Apples, and Clue. We were up until two in the morning, but it was fun!

This morning Kevin mowed the yard and we put the solar cover back on the pool. It’s supposed to be in the 90’s all week, so the pool should warm up fast.

My sister Jennifer came over to visit with her two kids. We sat in the shade of the Willow tree in the front yard and it was nice with the breeze blowing. The kids are big enough now that we don’t have to worry about them running for the street, so we had a nice talk.

I’m sorry that we go back to normal living tomorrow. I have enjoyed this Labor Day weekend. We didn’t do anything, but it was nice just doing what we wanted and not worrying about entertaining. I hope you all had a great extended weekend also.

I had a lazy weekend, nice. Sunday, Howie and I took a picnic to Dawes Arboretum. He took a walk, but I was wearing clogs and didn't walk with him. I sat and read, which was great.
