Annoying Things
What annoys you about living where you are now?
A couple up the street does not abide by the leash law. They have two small dogs and since the dogs are small, they believe the dogs do not have/need to be leashed. The wife’s excuse is, “Well, people let their cats run wild.” I have a cat and I do not let my cat run wild; that and the fact that there is no leash law for cats. I firmly believe there should be though.
Do you think you have habits that annoy other people?
Yes! I am sure my opinions and firmness in certain beliefs annoys people among many other things.
Does it annoy you when people kiss in public?
It depends on how long the kiss lasts and how open-mouthed it is. (I tried to put it nicely.)
Do you get annoyed when other people display bad manners?
Yes. Now, I don’t care if you put your elbows on the table, but I do care when you talk with your mouth full of food and the food is not only showing, but is spewing out! I also think it is rudeness to the extreme to eat while on the phone. I can hear you and you sound gross!
If something is annoying you, what do you usually do?
I usually ignore it unless it is someone living in my house. If I am on the phone and get annoyed, I roll my eyes or hold the phone away from my ear.
Does it annoy you when people don’t use the right punctuation?
Sometimes; it depends on who it is and the age of the person. I make errors too, so I’m not too critical when it comes to this, only when it is something that should be very obvious to everyone.
What kinds of people annoy you?
People who say they want equal treatment, but really want a step up for doing nothing.

LOL! I couldn't answer this on my blog, because the list of things that annoy me would be too long and probably set back my therapy by a couple years! (I am annoyed rather easily and find that it doesn't help to dwell on things that bother me.) That aside, I can relate with your loose dog pet peeve. There are people in our neighborhood with two big dogs that are not leashed either. They always run to the end of their driveway barking their loud scary barks when we walk by. I yell "NO" at them and scream at the people who live there to leash their dogs (really, I can be a handful), but they ignore me. I am afraid of those dogs. Who knows what it would take to set them off. If they came after Norman, I would kick the living daylights out of them! I have kicked a loose dog that attacked Norman before. It wasn't pretty. It really freaked Ian out too - LOL!
