Missouri
Each time Andrew has to travel, it rains. As a matter of fact, it doesn’t only rain; it pours. Yesterday was no different. When he arrived at the airport in Raleigh, North Carolina there were bad storms.
His plane was supposed to leave at 4:45; however, because the weather was so bad, it was delayed until 6:45. That time ended up changing to 6:15. He flew to Atlanta, Georgia and had to rush in order to make it to his next flight which would take him to Missouri. Had there not been delays, he wouldn’t have had to rush so much. Oh, and let me just say; I have no idea why in the world you have to fly from North Carolina to Georgia in order to get to Missouri, but that’s the way it is. That was not a typo.
He arrived in Missouri to winter weather around 11 last night and then on base at 3:30 AM this morning. He had to be up at 4:30 AM. I think he will sleep well tonight! Hopefully they get the chance today to buy some winter gear – like a coat and gloves!
On January 13th, I explained the EGA (Eagle, Globe, & Anchor) Ceremony. This took place after the Crucible and they received their EGA pin which signifies they are Marines.
This is the best photo I could get of him during that ceremony:

I have been meaning to share another picture with you also. I want to show you the “A” on my hand:
You may think it’s corny, but each time I look at it, it helps me to keep Andrew and Ashley in mind. If you do not see it, this will help:
I think it's cool.

When flying, the airlines have HUBS that they fly in and out of, so it depends on which airline you are flying on - Atlanta is a HUB -

That "A" is pretty cool. I have some tiny veins on my leg in the shape of the Jesus fish.

Ugh - catching flights is such a pain. I have run through many airports praying that my connecting flight had not taken off w/o me. I have missed a couple flights. Once the evil airline lady would not reopen the door even though the plane was still sitting there at the gate. Evil woman. Your A is cool.
They tried to fly me through Dallas to get from Mobile to Asheville recently. Dallas?!! That's like a three hour diversion!

Glad to hear Andrew was able to catch his connecting flight; I hate being rushed at an airport and can imagine that being compounded by knowing you're in the Marines and due somewhere! That A's pretty neat. I don't have any blogworthy bodily features.
