Waiting For Snow

I fully expected to be blogging tonight about the massive snow amounts we had received, however as of this time, we don’t have any. They are predicting 5 to 10 inches to fall between tonight and tomorrow morning. This amount would be considerable for this area.

Schools dismissed early in our county and surrounding counties; I don’t know if that will add an extra day to the school year or not. They are going through June 2nd and that will be hard as it is. Ashley’s birthday is the 3rd, so we are cutting it very close. She has gone to school on her birthday before and I know other kids do it every year, but, like everyone else, she doesn’t like it.

Kevin and Ashley did the Wal-Mart thing last night, so we are stocked up on milk, bread, popcorn, and unhealthy foods. Since he went, he is to blame for us having this in our freezer:

I guess I will be forced to eat a big bowl – just like last weekend! The shame of it! I do have to admit, this flavor of ice cream is amazing.

Ooooh, you are cruel! That sounds wonderful. Howie decided to buy Kashi GoLean and frozen blueberries since we love that as a sweet snack. We are too tempted when we have ice cream and tend to have the whole half gallon gone within a day. So, buh-bye ice cream. *sniffle* We'll still get it, but just a serving's worth while out.

Oh, but that fried ice cream sounds wonderful!!
