The Things You Will See ... On Me!
It’s been a while.
I’ve been on the computer, but every time I get on, I have emails to read or other blogs I want to read. By the time I do those things, the urge to write is gone.
I finished Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl which I had never read until now. It amazed me and I found it remarkable how I could relate things that I am feeling now, at the age of 36 in the year 2008 to how she felt at 14 years of age in the year 1943. Certain sentences resonate my feelings exactly. It astonished me to say the least.
The weekend went by entirely too quickly, but that happens when a person is busy. We stripped wallpaper, painted a room, had dinner with the family, and then painted some more. I will show you before and after pictures once everything is complete. We are currently still in the painting and wait until it dries before we do anything else phase. You just have to roll your eyes sometimes.
On a totally different subject; I was in a children’s clothing store last weekend. As I walked past a little girl, I noticed that she was staring a hole through me, or rather my chest. I thought to myself, now what could she be staring at. Then it dawned on me. I was wearing my new Alice shirt:
The blood on her knife and apron may have been a tad to dramatic for a child. That thought never occurred to me when I walked in that store. The funny thing is; I have often seen, mainly teenagers, wearing shirts I thought were inappropriate. By wearing this shirt am I now the inappropriate one? I’m sure I will sound like one of those teenagers when I say, I really don’t care. I adore this shirt. AMERICAN MCGEES ALICE is the coolest game ever!

LOL!! Yeah, that just might scar her for life, Tami. *Giggling* at the thought of the therapy session's transcript a decade from now. LOL!!
I'm on pins and needles, wondering if Sarah's going to progress into the Energetic Eight of Mutt Madness. I'll post on my blog just as soon as I find out. They are supposed to post the next round after midnight tonight.

We're still on our long weekend away, stopped in Marietta, Ohio for the night. If you ever get a chance to drive I-50 through the mountains of West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia, do it. It is gorgeous!

LOL! You were stared at. That little girl probably had nightmares that night :P j/k! I was hoping you were taking a nice long vacation in the warm sun. I'm a little sad to hear that you've been working hard. You need a vacation.

I had to laugh on closer inspection of your tee-shirt. Looks like something my eldest son would love to wear!
Are you still losing weight? You're definitely looking a bit slimmer in your face :)
