Child Statue
As we drove through the cemetery on Saturday, Kevin spotted this statue of a child:
He commented that the same statue is at the public library:

He then pondered how the same statue could have such different meanings in different settings.
I believe he is right. At the cemetery, I think of her as lifting up her hands to Heaven and God. At the library, the same little girl seems to be dancing as if joyous. Thinking about it now, I suppose they are symbolic of elation in both places. What do you think?
This bush is so perfect, it almost looks plastic:

Before our visit to the cemetery, we visited with Kevin’s parents. They surprised me with these three pots of flowers:
I was delighted!
